Unfortunately, none of us knows why you’rehearing voices (auditory hallucinations).
Even the very best mental health professionals on Quora don’t know the answer – they don’t know you and haven’t examined you

Hallucinations can be caused by recreational drugs, neurological problems, medication reactions, illness, high fever, schizophrenia, mania, depression with psychotic features (and more).
Whatever the cause, command hallucinations (voices telling you to do something to yourself or someone else) are very serious, potentially dangerous, and warrant immediate professional attention.
If you’re experiencing command hallucination, you need to see a licensed mental health professional ASAP.
If you do not currently have a psychiatrist or therapist, please contact emergency services (911 in the US) or present at your closest emergency room or crisis center.
It’s really important to get help now – while you’re still able to resist the voices.
Please get offline and either call 911 or ask someone to take you to the nearest emergency room or crisis center.
Please stay safe.
